CHALET RIEDERALP

Riederalp is a unique and picturesque mountain village in the Aletsch Arena situated on a sunny plateau at 1945m above sea-level. It is family-friendly, car-free and offers plenty of activities both in winter as in summer.

You can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding Valais mountains including the famous >4000m peaks such as the Dom, Alphubel, Weisshorn and Matterhorn. The Aletsch Arena is part of the UNESCO world heritage Aletsch-Jungfrau region and home of the great Aletsch glacier.

In summer, there are many hiking and MTB trails, spectacular suspension bridges, a 9-hole golf course, and kids-friendly activities such as mini-golf, a tree climbing park and mountain carting.

 

During winter season, the Aletsch Arena turns into a true winter sports' paradise situated between 1845m and 2869m with guaranteed snow, almost 120 km of groomed slopes + 15km of free-ride routes, 72km of winter walking trails, cross-country trails, snow and fun-parks etc.

Our apartment is located at a very central location in the Aletsch Arena and welcomes guests year- round.
